Education & Resources
Dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis may seem overwhelming at times. To Life!’s priority is to connect you with resources and information so that you can make informed choices and work in partnership with your healthcare provider(s). Throughout the year, To Life! offers educational programs, open to all and free of charge.
Throughout the year To Life! offers educational programs on a variety of topics such as: surgical options, oncology, drug therapy, clinical trials, exercise and nutrition, family issues and support, genetic testing and counseling, life during and after treatment, and more. Topics are presented from the perspective of cancer survivors and are relevant to those currently in treatment and post treatment, as well as clinicians, caregivers, family and friends.
Support and Mentoring
The first days, weeks and months following a cancer diagnosis can be challenging. To Life! offers support groups for women newly diagnosed and in treatment, women diagnosed in their 40s or younger, and women with metastatic breast cancer, as well as a bilingual support group (Spanish and English) in Amsterdam, NY.
