Facebook Fundraisers are a great way to invite friends and family to help raise money for a cause that is important to you. To Life! is a qualified 501(c)(3) organization and is set up with Facebook to receive donations from individuals. Want to help but don't know where to begin? Here are some sample invites:

Dear Friends and Family – In life, if we are fortunate enough, we are able to celebrate many  milestones – major birthdays, wedding anniversaries, career accomplishments to name a few.  For me, however, one of the most important milestones I celebrate each year is the anniversary of me being cancer-free. 

This year, as I celebrate my “x anniversary” of being cancer-free I would like to honor this occasion by asking each of you to support To Life!, a local breast cancer survivor’ organization.  To Life! is a lifeline to so many women in our community.  It is a safe place to get fitted for a mastectomy product or a wig, embrace the comfort of a support group, or get educated on breast cancer treatments and it is also a place to celebrate life and balance.

My journey through breast cancer has been extremely personal, but at the same time, I could not have made it through this ordeal without the love and support of family and friends.  I hope you can help me celebrate by donating whatever you can to To Life!  The simple act of giving would mean a great deal to me and my family.

Dear Friends and Family – In life, if we are fortunate enough, we are able to celebrate many  milestones – major birthdays, wedding anniversaries, career accomplishments to name a few.  For some, however, the celebration of these milestones come second to dealing with a devasting diagnosis of breast cancer.  Where once the celebration of an anniversary seemed important, many women are now celebrating each day of life. 

In our community there is an amazing organization called To Life!, a breast cancer survivor organization, whose sole purpose is to help women navigate this diagnosis and offer support.  To Life! is multi-faceted, providing:  a safe place to get fitted for mastectomy product or a wig, embrace the comfort of a support group, or get educated on breast cancer treatments and it is also a place to celebrate life and balance.

In honor of woman who are dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, I am asking you to help support this incredible organization by giving whatever you can, no matter how small.  The act of giving is enough, and it would mean the world to me to have you give such a gift.
