Affirmations for Coping during Coronavirus Times

What I do matters for my community

I wash my hands, for myself and others

We can get through this together

Teamwork makes the dream work

Together we protect each other

My actions matter, today and tomorrow

While socially distant, I am emotionally close

I use tech to reach out

I trust all will be well

My heart is heavy, my heart is full

I learn from tough times

I will do what I can and let the rest go

I have a right to say “no” to others

I have a right to care for my own needs

I can help myself and others

I will do my part

I celebrate the efforts of others

I notice the good

I care for myself and my community

My little losses are important too

It’s ok to grieve small losses

Grieving helps me know what really matters

Even in chaos, I can feel peaceful

Other people’s needs matter AND my needs matter

My needs matter AND other people’s needs matter

We are all in this together

My coping skills serve me well today

I exhale and release stress

I protect myself and those around me

I am grateful for the helpers

I help the helpers

In troubled times, I support solutions

I can make a difference

I am ready to lead in this moment

It’s a marathon, not a sprint; I’ve trained for this

We communicate to support each other

Even when overwhelmed, I notice the good

Laughter is the medicine I need

A smile is powerful medicine
